DHS Launches New Retail Awareness Training

Our partners in Homeland Security have been developing a course for retail associates, loss prevention specialists and others, to identify and report suspicious purchases or thefts of products that bad actors could use in terrorist or other criminal activities.

A number of retailers provided materials, thought leadership and constructive feedback.  The program may not apply to all retail stores, however thefts from distribution centers or through the supply chain may be equally important to consider.

The DHS team continues to provide valuable (and FREE) tools to support the mission of protecting our customers, employees and community.

I’m happy to pass along any feedback to the team after you take a look.
